Competitions

Premiere Ballet Ensemble participates in two ballet competitions each year, which may include Universal Ballet Competition (UBC), American Dance Competition/International Ballet Competition (ADCIBC), Ballet Competition of America (BCA), among others.

Participation in competitions is open exclusively to company members and is mandatory for dancers involved in off-campus P.E. For all other company members, participation is optional.

While competitions are not the primary focus of our program, we recognize their value in a dancer’s development. They offer constructive feedback from industry professionals and provide opportunities to earn scholarships, receive invitations to prestigious training programs, and gain broader performance experience.
